Cabbages and Kings

It's harvest time in California! It is funny to me that we are harvesting vegetables when everyone else I know is living in amongst the frost. It makes me very grateful to be living in California. You will get here some day ma! Then we can harvest our vegetables together! :)

The first of the cabbages. I know, kind of a provocative photo. I can only imagine right?

The first of the carrots. They didn't get too big but they were sure delicious! To celebrate our first of the veggies Dustin decided to go Cajun and made us the most amazing Cajun king seafood boil, Crab legs and all! Though the only thing in this dish from our garden were the carrots they were the jewel of the feast! We truly were eating like kings!

We have yet to finish to cabbages off but Dustin plans to make some of these...
